Everyone say hi to Ruger

So I mentioned that I got a dog. His name is Ruger, he is almost 8 months old and he is a purebred boxer. Here is a picture of him.

Pittsburgh

This is a video I found shortly after returning from Pittsburgh, it pretty much sums up the booth monkey experience with Sermonspice.com

Basically we hurt people and then gave then free stuff.

Sleeping In

So why is it that when it comes to getting up in the morning I always want 5 more minutes, but when I am on vacation and don't have to be really at all, I have to force myself to stay in bed until 8. Oh, the mysteries of life.

I got a dog!

So yesterday my landlord mentioned in passing that I could get a dog. So I did. He is a 7 month old brindle boxer, and he is awesome. Today we spent the morning at the dog park, and then went to Lowe's to get some fencing building materials to make the yard more dog proof. His name is Rocky, but I don't know if that is what I want it to be. I am thinking of Yota, like Toyota, not Yoda...

Any ideas for names?

Pictures to come.

Laziness

So its after midnight and I want to go to bed. Yet I am posting... So I have been doing laundry today, and when I left to church this evening my sheets were in the wash. So I just got home and I don't want to make my bed, because it will take too long and I am tired, and yet I am posting... Anyways I have a weird liking for multiple pillows and it takes a long time to put the cases on and I don't want to do it I just want to go to bed. So I have a saying which I think gets its origin from me and that is "Laziness breeds ingenuity." It kinda goes along with the "work smarter not harder", but more real. So I got the ingenuous idea to sleep in my spare bedroom!

Hah, no making the bed tonight!

What laziness have you used to fuel a great idea?

So I have had a lot happening in my life as of late. A lot of things that I really can't put into words, or maybe rather choose not to in this venue. It has been a long break, but now that I am back from Pittsburgh (I was there for a convention...) I am going to try to catch up on a lot of things, blogging included. So I look forward to hitting 10 posts this month.
